Masterfully improvised solos from James Emerson are supported by a strong rhythm section with tight, syncopated bass grooves from Geoff Rosenberg and Isaac Beggs holding it all together behind the kit. The trio will take you on a captivating journey as they seamlessly weave through a range of musical genres and soundscapes.

James Emerson has been an active performer in the local music scene for over a decade and has studied under some of Australia’s most prolific guitarists including Mark Johns and Jeremy Sawkins. His sound is a rich blend of musical styles showcasing swinging walking bass lines, chordal improvisations and soulful melodies.

Geoff Rosenberg
Bass
Veteran bassist Geoff Rosenberg has toured and recorded with Blackfeather, legendary Melbourne band Stockley See and Mason, The Eurogliders, The Flaming Hands, James Blundell, Nathan Cavalieri, Baby Loves to Cha Cha, the Mighty Reapers, Continental Robert, Rick Melick, Lisa Ohlback, George Washingmachine and The Acca Daiquiris just to name a few. He currently performs around Sydney in his own trio ‘The Burglars’ with vocalist Nick Norton, the current frontman for iconic Aussie band ‘The Angels’.

Isaac Beggs
Drums
A drummer with over 20 years of experience, when not performing with James, Isaac tours with Australian funk rock outfit Claude Hay and the Kung Fu Mustard. His musical foundation was shaped through formal study in Cuba, informing a dynamic and deeply rooted rhythmic approach. He has recorded two albums and toured extensively with mathcore outfit Basil’s Kite, and has also collaborated with R&B bedroom artist Andi Isalie. His work spans diverse genres, bringing versatility, precision, and strong live presence to every project.
